Solar of The Americas is a free, independent website with answers to all questions solar, with storage and new tech included. It covers every country in North America, Central America, the Caribbean and South America.
What we aim to do
- Explain solar and storage in plain language for homeowners, farmers, businesses, students and policymakers.
- Keep an up to date directory of agencies, incentives, manufacturers and nonprofits for every country in the Americas.
- Show the evidence honestly, including the limits and trade offs of each technology.
How we check facts
We rely on primary sources wherever possible: government agencies, regulators, national laboratories, peer reviewed research and program administrators. Directory pages show a last reviewed date. Incentives and rules change often, so always confirm with the official program before making a decision.
Corrections
If you spot an error, a broken link or an out of date program, please tell us in the discussion below or on the page where you found it. We fix confirmed errors quickly and note significant changes.
Independence
We do not sell solar equipment, and no company pays to be listed in our directories.
